1 Who we are

"RIBO Exam", "we", "us" and "our" refer to the operator of the website at ribo-exam.ca and the exam-preparation course sold through it. You can reach us at info@ribo-exam.ca or on WhatsApp at +41 77 924 49 12.

2 What you're buying

You are purchasing access to an online, self-paced preparation course for the Ontario RIBO Level 1 (Entry-Level Broker) examination. The course includes lessons, a bank of practice questions with explanations, and mock exams, delivered through your browser.

The course is a study aid. It is not the RIBO examination, a licence, or a registration, and buying it does not enroll you in or register you for the RIBO exam, which you book separately with an approved exam provider.

3 Price & payment

The course price is CAD $49, a one-time charge for access as described at the time of purchase, unless a different price or offer is clearly shown at checkout. Applicable taxes, if any, are shown before you pay.

Payment is processed by our third-party payment provider. We do not store your full card details on our servers.

4 Access & account

Access is granted to a single user for personal use. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Access is provided for your ongoing use of the course; we may retire, update, or replace course content over time as the exam blueprint changes.

5 Refunds

Because this is a digital product that gives immediate access to downloadable and viewable content, the general rule is that sales are final once access has been granted.

6 Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Share, resell, sublicense, or distribute your access or the course content;
• Copy, reproduce, scrape, or republish the questions, explanations, or lessons;
• Use the course to build or train a competing product or question bank;
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the platform.

We may suspend or terminate access for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, without refund.

7 Intellectual property

All course content — including the question bank, explanations, lessons, text, design, and branding — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. You receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive right to use the content for your own exam preparation. No other rights are granted.

8 No guarantee of results

We built this course to prepare you thoroughly for the RIBO Level 1 exam, and we're confident in it. But we cannot and do not guarantee that you will pass. Your result depends on your own study, retention, and performance on exam day, which are outside our control.

9 Not affiliated with RIBO

We are an independent exam-preparation provider. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or authorized by the Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO), nor by any exam provider. "RIBO" and related names are used only to describe the exam this course prepares you for.

10 Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of the course or these terms is limited to the amount you paid for the course. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including any loss arising from failing the exam or from a delay in booking or sitting it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

11 Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect is the one posted here, with the "last updated" date shown above. Material changes take effect when posted; your continued use of the course after that means you accept the updated terms.

12 Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. You agree to the courts of Ontario having jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights that apply to you.
