What personal information we collect at ribo-exam.ca, why we need it, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do with it.

1Who is responsible

Quartzium Learning Center operates ribo-exam.ca and is responsible for the personal information handled on it. Privacy contact: info@ribo-exam.ca. We follow Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

2What we collect

Only what we need to sell and deliver the course:

3Why we collect it

To create and secure your account, process your purchase, give you access to the course and track your progress, answer your questions, keep the platform working and secure, and meet legal and accounting obligations. We do not sell personal information.

5The contact form and WhatsApp

The contact form on this site stores nothing: it opens WhatsApp or your email app with your message ready to send. Messages sent through WhatsApp are also handled by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own privacy policy.

6Service providers

We share information only with providers that help us run the service — payment processor, web hosting, email and analytics — and only as needed for that service. They must protect it and use it for that purpose only. We may disclose information where the law requires it.

7Cookies

Cookies keep you signed in, remember preferences and help us understand how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; some features, such as staying signed in to the course, need them. Where a consent banner is shown, you can refuse non-essential cookies.

8Retention

We keep personal information while your account and course access exist, then as long as required for legal, tax and accounting reasons. After that it is deleted or anonymised.

9Safeguards

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and restricted access. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit access to people who need it.

10Your rights

Under PIPEDA you can:

  • access the personal information we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • withdraw consent, subject to legal or contractual limits;
  • ask how your information is collected, used and disclosed;
  • complain to us and to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

11Data outside Canada

Some providers may store or process data outside Canada. It may then be subject to the laws of those countries; we take reasonable steps to keep it protected to a comparable standard.

12Children

The course is for adults preparing for a professional licensing exam. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of majority in their province.
